White-Red National Symbol
According to the law of January 31, 1980, on the emblem, colors, and anthem of the Republic of Poland, as well as state seals, the flag of Poland is a rectangular piece of fabric in the colors of the Republic of Poland and proportions of 5:8, placed on a mast. Our national colors are red (at the bottom of the flag) and white (at the top). These colors are not random; they reflect another national symbol, the white eagle on a red background, which is our national emblem. The law allows for the use of flags that, in addition to standard rectangles, also have the white eagle printed on them.
At JEST, we produce Polish national flags of all types – both white-red and with the image of the white eagle. Importantly, in JEST, national flags of different colors are not sewn together (which affects their specific durability) but are printed with the appropriate pattern on a single piece of material.
Meaning of Flag Colors
The white-red flag is a national symbol of Poland. However, few people know or consider the meaning of the colors used in the Polish flag. Let's explain it, as it's worth knowing, especially on the occasion of Flag Day on May 2nd!
The color white is used in heraldry to represent silver. It also symbolizes water and, in terms of spiritual values, signifies purity and immaculateness. The color red is a symbol of fire and blood, translating directly to virtues such as courage and valor. Considering Poland's difficult and tragic history, where it had to fight for its independence, the choice of national colors seems quite obvious.
High-Quality National Flag
You can easily buy a Polish flag almost anywhere, even at a gas station. It's easy to guess that these readily available and low-cost flags are made of low-quality materials. They get dirty easily, and attempting to wash them often results in permanent damage. Once purchased and exposed to the elements, they may not be suitable for reuse.
At JEST, we offer a wide range of Polish national flags: various sizes and different patterns, including flags for hanging on a mast. Flags are made of durable materials: Standard polyester or Pro Wind mesh, with different grammages (thicknesses) and finished in an individual way. The material is printed using digital printing technology. JEST brand flags guarantee excellent quality and products that will last for years.
National Flag Servicing
The national flag, regardless of the country, should be treated with respect. Therefore, it needs to be properly cared for. JEST provides a comprehensive service for large national flags and masts. This service includes installation, removal, cleaning, washing, and repairing of these flags. It's an incredible convenience and another task taken off your hands. It's worth noting that JEST's services also include replacing advertising flags with national flags, for example, on the occasion of holidays.
Finally, it's worth adding that we not only produce Polish national flags but also flags of other countries, including flags of other nations or custom flags tailored to the client's wishes and adapted to individual needs.
