Third Generation Cleaning Washers
The JEST company has been involved in cleaning and disinfecting shopping carts for about 10 years. During this time, two generations of washers were introduced to the market. Currently, as part of a subsidized project, the third generation of washers will be introduced, where improvements to the process have been implemented based on our own research and development work, aiming for even more reliable operation and higher efficiency. The innovation will consist of:
-
changing the power supply from 3.2KW to 4.8KW
-
replacing the generator unit
-
changing the pump to a more efficient one, from Aqua plus 6 (6m3 per hour) to Aqua plus 11 (11m3 per hour)
-
changing the pressure washer to a more efficient one.
The service provided by the third-generation washers will be significantly improved compared to the first and second generations. The most important advantages will be:
-
higher efficiency
-
use of modern cleaning fluids:
- ESTER 10 fluid, which is a disinfecting-cleaning fluid designed for washing metal, glass, ceramics, plastic products, wood, etc. It is environmentally friendly and effectively removes organic and inorganic contaminants.
- MEX AUTOMAT POLISHER - this is a polishing fluid for metal, glass, and plastics. Environmentally friendly. Used in the final cycle of cart washing.
The use of these fluids and a washing temperature of up to 80 degrees Celsius will effectively combat coronaviruses present on the surface of shopping carts.
REACT-EU Funds
A record number of companies, as many as 2,000, applied for funds from the special REACT-EU recovery program, supporting the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Ultimately, 133 companies were selected, including the JEST Group. The total amount of additional funds awarded is as much as 70 million PLN!
It is worth noting that so far, a total of 641 projects have received support under the competition, amounting to nearly 370 million PLN (including 103 in the Medium Enterprises category for 67 million PLN and 538 in the Micro and Small Enterprises category for 303 million PLN). On the reserve lists, i.e. lists of projects assessed positively but not selected for funding due to insufficient funds, a total of 896 projects were included, amounting to 438 million PLN.
By the decision of the Regional Board, as a result of transferring funds from the REACT-EU mechanism, another 133 projects were selected for funding from the reserve lists of four rounds of the competition, with a total funding amount of 70 million PLN (including 26 in the Medium Enterprises category for 15.8 million PLN and 107 in the Micro and Small Enterprises category for 54.2 million PLN). In April, a symbolic, solemn transfer of promises to the selected companies took place. – We are delighted to be among this prestigious group. The funding will allow us to purchase equipment that will enable retail establishments to even more effectively care for the cleanliness and disinfection of shopping carts, which is a top priority in the era of COVID-19! – says Jerzy Jastrzębski, founder of the JEST Group.
